A great 3 hour crash course on ASD. It’s not perfect and he admits multiple times that Autism is not his area of specialty. It’s still a well researched, more nuanced and comprehensive coverage of it than a lot of the other “educational” stuff I’ve come across. I’ve developed a disdain for all the short form content and the stuff that speaks with an unhelpful or outdated academic voice.. Starts at the 5 minute mark.

Why You Can’t Get Your ADHD Treatment
I’ve tried other ways and stimulant medication has easily been the best method for treating my ADHD. There are so many normal adult expectations that I would not be able to meet without these meds. These are things I technically have the ability to do but not always the capacity to do them. And sometimes, regardless of my wanting or interest, I still can’t do them even with force or threat of consequence. The problem with the meds is that access is highly regulated and at times frustratingly difficult.
